flowers montage   flowers montage   flowers montage

This Action Plan is the primary nature conservation document for the Peak District, shared between many wide-ranging partners. Its’ aim is to set the agenda for wildlife conservation in the Peak District over the next 10 years.

The Peak District Biodiversity Action Plan is one of a series of Local Plans that are found throughout the country. Each plan makes an overall contribution to the UK Biodiversity Action Plan and the International Biodiversity Convention signed at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992.

The following links are chapters from the Plan including the Habitat and Species Action Plans themselves.
