Hi, my name is Chris Robinson and I
work for the Peak District National Park Education Team. I am going
to take you on a virtual walk around the North Lees Estate.
During this visit we will explore some of the features of this varied landscape
and meet a few of the people who look after and enjoy it. The Stanage/North Lees Estate
is owned and managed by the Peak District National Park Authority.
This area is thought of as a microcosm of the national park as a whole.
Many of the conflicts of interest that are to be found here, can also
be found throughout the park and the way these interests are managed reflect
many of the management decisions people have to make across the globe.
